Hosting and server log files

When this website is accessed, the technical hosting provider processes access data that is technically necessary to deliver and securely operate the website.

This data may include, in particular, IP address, date and time of access, requested file or page, referrer URL, browser type, operating system, HTTP status code and transferred data volume.

Processing is carried out for website delivery, security, error analysis and prevention of misuse.

Contact form and IVATION Bot

If you use the contact form or the IVATION Bot, the information you enter is processed for the purpose of handling your inquiry. This may include name, company, email address, phone number, topic, meeting request and message.

The inquiry is processed through a server-side form endpoint and forwarded to IVATION by email. The website does not store form content in a database.

If server delivery is technically unavailable, a locally prepared email may be opened as a fallback. The IVATION Bot currently responds only on the basis of statically stored website information. No automated decision-making within the meaning of Art. 22 GDPR takes place.

Cookie consent, LocalStorage and SessionStorage

This website uses technically necessary functions. The choice made in the cookie banner is stored locally in the browser so that your decision can be respected.

The open state of the IVATION Bot may be stored during the current browser session. The content of your inquiry is not stored permanently.

Google Calendar booking page

For meeting requests, an external link to the Google Calendar booking page may be provided. When clicking this link, you leave this website and Google processes data under its own responsibility.

Google Calendar is not embedded on this website and no Google scripts are loaded. Information entered in the IVATION Bot is not automatically transferred to Google.

The Google Calendar booking page shows available times for an IVATION appointment and creates a Google Meet video conference after booking.

Google Analytics

This website uses Google Analytics 4 with Measurement ID G-E02TW0QDTD to statistically evaluate reach, page views and interactions.

Google Analytics is only loaded if you accept optional analytics services in the cookie banner. Without consent, no Analytics tag is loaded.

According to Google, IP addresses from users in the EU, Switzerland and the United Kingdom are not logged or stored in Google Analytics; they are processed before logging for coarse location derivation and then discarded.

The provider is Google Ireland Limited. Depending on the processing, data may be transferred to Google LLC in the USA. Processing is based on your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and Section 25(1) TDDDG.

Google signals, Google Ads links and marketing functions are not actively used on this website.

Google Search Console

The website is verified in Google Search Console. Search Console is used for technical SEO monitoring, indexing checks and sitemap submission.

No additional tracking script is embedded on this website for Search Console and no additional cookies are set by IVATION for this purpose.

Legal bases

The provision and security of the website is based on legitimate interests pursuant to Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

The handling of contact and meeting inquiries is based, depending on the content of the inquiry, on Art. 6(1)(b) GDPR or Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR.

Consent-based services such as Google Analytics are activated only on the basis of your consent pursuant to Art. 6(1)(a) GDPR and the applicable rules for access to terminal equipment.

Recipients and categories of recipients

Recipients of personal data may include technical service providers for hosting, maintenance and operation of the website as well as service providers used to handle inquiries or meeting requests.

Disclosure to third parties only takes place where required to handle the inquiry, where there is a legal obligation or where consent has been given.

Retention

Server log files are stored only for as long as necessary for security, error analysis and operation, usually only for a short technical period unless longer storage is required for security reasons.

Contact and meeting inquiries are processed only for as long as necessary to handle the inquiry, subsequent communication or statutory retention obligations.
